Actual costs for lost keys, punctures, odours, dirt and cleaning are not covered by the NOC waiver.
Other coverage conditions and notes
- Bodily injury: unlimited. Property damage: unlimited (¥100,000 deductible). Vehicle: covered (¥150,000 deductible). Personal injury: up to ¥30 million per person.
- Optional NOC waiver: ¥1,300/day for drivers licensed 3+ years and under 65; otherwise ¥2,200/day.
- With NOC waiver, ¥50,000/¥100,000 NOC is waived. Without it, NOC is ¥50,000 if drivable or ¥100,000 if not.
- Unreported accidents, illegal driving, unauthorized drivers, unauthorized extensions, and repeat accidents are excluded.
- Drivers licensed under three years or aged 65+ also pay ¥1,000/day extra on the base rate.
- NOC still applies without the waiver for hit-and-run, theft, flying stones, or another party's fault. Key, puncture, odour and cleaning costs remain payable.
- Replacement delivery is ¥3,000 within 20 km one way, then ¥500 per 5 km; tolls and parking are extra and service depends on availability.
